The View's Meghan McCain attacks Obama in nonsensical Biden rant

"The View" co-host Meghan McCain found herself on the same side of a political debate with Joy Behar, and then launched into an attack on Barack Obama.

The frequent left-right sparring partners both agreed that former Vice President Joe Biden should brawl with President Donald Trump in the 2020 campaign -- which they believe is narrowing down to a two-man race between the septuagenarians.

"He will go Wilmington, Delaware, on his ass so quick," McCain said. "I'm ready for a fight here, I'm ready for somebody to counterpunch in a way that will be effective."

McCain, whose father John McCain served with Biden for years in the U.S. Senate, said he could battle Trump and still retain his innate class.

"I think he'll be classy, because Joe is a classy guy," she said.

Behar agreed, saying she wanted Biden to beat Trump at his own game.

"Trump's base likes it when he makes up these names -- 'crooked Hillary,' they love them," Behar said. "Joe Biden's base -- I'm one of them, I like it, too, I'm a street fighter. I'm from Brooklyn, go at him."

Co-hosts Sunny Hostin and Abby Huntsman disagreed, saying she didn't think Biden needed to "get in the mud" with Trump, and Behar started to push back before McCain shouted them all down.

"Joy, why are you and I in total agreement?" McCain said. "You've got to play dirty, get dirty -- it's a dirty game. Politics is not the place you go when you want to feel soft and warm."

Hostin said Obama had won election twice without getting his hands dirty, and McCain went off.

"Let me finish!" she said.

"It is a paradigm shift, Trump being elected, a paradigm shift in every conceivable ways in American politics," McCain continued. "To put the old standard of Obama -- you run like Obama you're going to get Trump again, hands down."
