Barack Obama Releases Favorites of 2018 List: Black Panther, Roma, Chance the Rapper, More

Barack Obama has announced the list of his favorite movies, films and books of 2018. The forty-fourth president posted to Facebook to reveal a list that included films like Black Panther and Roma, music by J. Cole and The Carters, and his wife Michelle Obama’s book (among others).

“It gives me a moment to pause and reflect on the year through the books, movies, and music that I found most thought-provoking, inspiring, or just plain loved,” Obama wrote. “It also gives me a chance to highlight talented authors, artists, and storytellers — some who are household names and others who you may not have heard of before.”
