![]() Operation Confidence to Host Planning Meeting for 2010 Diversity Fair, United We ServeOctober 20, 2009 LOS ANGELES, Oct. 20 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Operation Confidence, a grassroots nonprofit organization encourages the Los Angeles community to attend the first planning meeting, a series of meetings to prepare for the "United We Serve Fair, 2010," in response to President Barack Obama's Service Initiative, "One Nation/One People." Operation Confidence is looking for community leaders who have innovative ideas that will help improve the quality of life for our diverse communities. The planning meeting will be held on Thursday, October 29, 2009, from 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., in the Administration West Conference Room 1 & 2 building in Exposition Park, 700 State Drive, Los Angeles, CA. 90037. "United We Serve Fair/One Nation/One People" will take place on Saturday, July 31, 2010, on the "South Lawn" of Exposition Park, (same location) from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and will be an international event. The fair will display the arts, international cuisines, costumes, and dance. There will be corporate and community based volunteer teams, state and government resources, health and fitness, and employment fair that include jobs for people with disabilities, Go Green, technology vendors, an international fashion show and more.
